The Thermo Scientific? Aquanex? is a system that produces ultrapure water (ASTM Type I) and pure water (ASTM Type II) from tap water for analytical and life science applications. Consumables can be replaced quickly and easily by removing the magnetic front panel, new cartridges are automatically recognized by the device. The device has 3 operating modes (water saving mode, pack saving mode, dynamic mode) that reduce water consumption or maximize the life of consumables.

Ultrapure water system arium® mini UV
The arium® mini is a compact ultrapure water series that is specially designed for Type 1 water requirements of about 10 liters per day. With the capacity to deliver ultrapure water at a rate of 1 L/min. and a width of only 28 cm (11 in.), this space-saving unit easily integrates into nearly any lab environment.
For analytical and especially critical applications, such as HPLC/UHPLC, all arium® mini systems can also be equipped with an optional integrated UV lamp (185/254 nm). This ensures reliable production of ultrapure water that is virtually free of organic components.

Typical applications are buffer and media preparation, histology, reagent preparation, ELISA, AAS, IC, photometry, SPE, GC-MS, HPLC/UHPLC and ICP-MS.

Ultrapure Water arium® mini is an ultrapure water system with integrated bag tank technology. The 5-liter bags are made of multilayer and specialized film, conforming to biocompatibility standards. The pure water can be stored in the side integrated 5-litre bag until the production of type 1 pure water.

The standard version of arium® mini is independent of a permanently installed water tap. Pretreated water is supplied from a container to the system via the integrated pump and is stored for further processing in the arium Bag. The water stored in this way then serves as feed water for the production of ultrapure water.
