Homogeniser, handheld, POLYTRON® PT 1300 D (High End Line)
This high-quality homogenizer, either handheld or mounted on a swivel type stand, is ideal for quick processing of small sample quantities and volumes. The low weight of the PT 1300 D makes it easy for repeated usages. Storing the desired speed ensures repetitive and reproducible homogenizations. When the unit is switched off, the last stored speed is saved. This drive can be controlled using our KIN software from a PC via USB or RS232. There are many different styles of aggregates available from 3 mm in diameter for volumes down to 0.01 ml to 12 mm for volumes up to 250 ml. If cross contamination from sample to sample is a concern, we offer single use synthetic aggregates in 7 and 12 mm diameters. One of the more recent additions to our line is the PT-DA 20/2 X EC aggregate which was specifically designed for homogenizing tablets.
-30 Volt, 100 Watt low-voltage motor with safety transformer
-Digital speed control from 2000 to 30000 rpm
-Aggregate tip speeds up to 14 m/s produce the finest particles possible
-Speed remains constant even when viscosity changes
-Soft start prevents splashing of homogenate from sample vessel

The complete digitalised control and regulating system can be easily operated using the membrane keyboard. The bright and informative display shows all parameters. Via PC interface, diverse parameters such as speed profile or times can be specified using the enclosed KIN software. Results can be recorded as an Excel file. Up to 30 dispersion aggregates with different geometries, design sizes, materials and coatings are available for selection.
