Filtration capsules, Sartobran 150 and 300
Ready-to-use pressure filtration capsules for sterile filtration of media and aqueous solutions with volumes of up to 20 litres (Sartobran 150), or 40 litres (Sartobran 300). The units consist of a polypropylene housing containing a double-layer cellulose acetate membrane (0.2 µm and 0.45 µm). The membranes, which have an area of 150 cm² or 300 cm², have extremely low protein adsorption levels. Autoclavable at up to 134°C. Automatically air vented via an integral PTFE membrane. Sterile and individually packed. With 6 to 12 mm flexible tubing connections (SO) or 1/2 inch tri-clamp (TC).

Used for large volumes of aqueous samples. Presterilized. Contains a nylon membrane which is inherently hydrophilic, has low extractables, is bio-safe and has excellent flow rates. A glass microfibre prefilter ensures a long working life for the main filter and allows the easy filtration of large volumes and difficult samples.

PP monofilament depth filters for use as prefilters or for the filtration of samples in water or organic solvents. The high loading capacity allows the purification of solutions with a high particle load.
