With these digital refractometers, the measurement is based on the determination of the limiting angle of total reflection between a sample and a prism, measured at a wavelength of 589 nm. Suitable for small sample volumes of approx. 0.3 ml. With optical sensor, temperature control, measuring electronics, evaluation electronics and touch display, the devices contain all the components needed to carry out the measurements reliably. Operation takes place directly on the device, so that a separate PC with software is not necessary.
-Internal Peltier temperature control and integrated sensor for temperature monitoring
-Pre-installed scales (refractive index and %Brix, temperature compensation for %Brix)
