The magnetic stirrer has an innovative LED temperature indicator scale and can also be used in conjunction with the SCT2 digital temperature controller to accurately control sample temperature. The "Hot" warning light will flash whenever the plate temperature is above 50 °C even when the hotplate is turned off and unplugged from the mains. Powerful magnets and motor give stirring speeds up to 2000 rpm and is capable of mixing large volumes (up to 15 l).

Model US152 has a aluminium-silicon alloy top plate for good heat transmission. The top plate has a thin ceramic coating for added chemical resistance.

Model UC152 has a glass ceramic top. The surface is easy to clean and the thermal properties allow very high plate temperatures. The white surface ensures good visibility of colour changes.
The UC152 and UC152D Sets are supplied with the temperature coltroller SCT2.

All models have an integral fitting for a retort rod and are supplied with 2 x 25 mm PTFE coated stirring bars.

The Hei-PLATE series with heating consists of models Hei-Standard, Hei-Tec and Hei-Connect.
-The chemically resistant KeraDisk® hot plate allows for immediate heat transfer resulting in quick heat-up times
-In case the heating function fails, stirring will not be discontinued to prevent bumping
-A separate on/off button for heating prevents unintentional heat-up
-With fire-resistant aluminum die-cast housing, which prevents the stirrer from damage, even if exposed to highest temperatures
-In case of a short-circuit, damage to the temperature sensor or disorder of the process, the unit powers off completely
-The temperature sensor consists of two independent safety circuits which switches off heating in case of any overtemperature situation
-Hermetically-sealed housing protects all mechanical and electronic components from aggressive environments
-With connection for optional temperature sensor Pt 1000
