Accessories to Cell Culture Flasks DURAN® TILT
The DURAN® TILT Light Shield is a removable white silicone sleeve that covers 94% of the bottle surface. The sleeve blocks damaging ultraviolet light, protects the glass surface from damage, and facilitates safer handling.

The DURAN® GL 56 Bottle Tags can be used for individual colour coding or for fixing the light shield to the bottle.

DURAN® bottle top vacuum filtration units for use with the TILT bottle (using an adaptor) or 45 mm media bottles. Manufactured in a Class 100,000 Cleanroom from Class VI non-cytotoxic materials. Supplied sterile.

Re-usable DURAN® GL 56 filter adaptor allows the use of the TILT bottle with standard 45 mm bottle top filtration units. Manufactured from inert PTFE.

DURAN® TILT GL 56 self-adhesive cap labels can be used to clearly indicate the separate bottles of media for each cell line, or types of media.

The smart, reusable bottle system for cell culture media preparation.
DURAN® TILT is perfectly designed for making work in biosafety cabinets and clean hoods safer and easier. The innovative features of the DURAN® TILT bottle changes everything. The TILT bottle has two positions: upright for filter sterilization or storage, and tilted at 45° for pipetting.
-The innovative design enables both good aseptic and ergonomic practice.
-The GL 56 mouth has a 100 % bigger opening than the standard GL 45 mouth for easier pipetting.
-The ergonomically shaped GL 56 screw cap is easy to open and close. Made from a non-cytotoxic polymer.

These cell culture flasks with treated surfaces for the cultivation of adherent cells are available with different growth areas from 12.5 to 300 cm². Available with vented or plug-seal caps made from polyethylene. Vented caps contain a 0.22 µm hydrophobic filter to allow gas exchange and minimize risk of cross-contamination. Plug-seal caps can be used in closed systems, providing a liquid and gas sheer seal, but by simply unscrewing the cap one quarter of a turn, this cap can also be used in an open system.

The Thermo Scientific? Nunc? 300 cm² Cell Culture Flask is our newest and biggest cell culture flask. In fact, this 1,900 mL total volume flask provides the largest culture area of any single-layer flask on the market, and is cell culture treated to deliver a uniform surface chemistry for promoting cell attachment and expanded growth. Promotes cell attachment and growth: Vacuum-gas plasma tissue-culture treated polystyrene for uniform surface chemistry, cell attachment, spreading and promoting cell growth. Durable construction, friendly design: Blow-molded, one-piece design with straight neck and molded grip notches that make this 1,900ml flask easy to hold. Quick volume estimation and sample identification: Includes bold printed graduations (100ml to 500ml, in 50ml graduations) and a large writing patch. Maintains optimal sterility during growth and passage: Filter cap incorporates a 0.2µm pore size hydrophobic membrane that allows gas exchange while maintaining sterility.
