Disposable Filtration Capsules, Polycap AS™
Used for large volumes of aqueous samples. Presterilized. Contains a nylon membrane which is inherently hydrophilic, has low extractables, is bio-safe and has excellent flow rates. A glass microfibre prefilter ensures a long working life for the main filter and allows the easy filtration of large volumes and difficult samples.
-Connectors: stepped barb (SB) and female national pipe thread (FNPT)

PP monofilament depth filters for use as prefilters or for the filtration of samples in water or organic solvents. The high loading capacity allows the purification of solutions with a high particle load.

-Maximum operating pressure 4.1 bar forward, 3.0 bar reverse
-Capsules may be used in either direction
-Low hold-up volume with air purge
-Autoclavable

Mounted in a robust PP housing. All have a low hold-up volume. Dimensions: (diameter x length) 53 x 46mm. Connections: For 6mm to 10mm diameter bore tubing. Also accept male luer slip.
-Hydrophobic PTFE membrane and choice of chemical trap:
-Activated carbon with 82000m2 filtration area removes organic vapours and radioactive particles
-Molecular sieve - removes water from organic and alkaline air streams
-Desiccant removes water from acidic air streams
-99.99% of particulates 0.1µm or larger are retained
-Maximum operating pressure 1 bar (wet gas) / 4.2 bar (dry gas)
For vacuum pump protection from corrosive vapours and contaminants. With end connectors for 12mm bore tubing. Supplied singly.

-Polypropylene housing thermally fused to eliminate surfactants and mold releasing agents that could affect analysis
-Manufactured according to ISO9001:2008 QMS standards
-Available in sterile versions with a filling bell option
-PES membranes protein adsorption characteristics: HAS 0.4 µg/cm²; Insulin 2.0 µg/cm²; gammaglobulin 1.5 µg/cm²
